Terms and conditions for using our services

주식회사 알에스코리아 (hereinafter "the Company") complies with applicable laws including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and establishes and publishes the following Terms of Service to protect the rights and interests of users and ensure ease of service use.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between 주식회사 알에스코리아 (hereinafter "the Company") and users regarding the use of online services (hereinafter "the Service") provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:
- "Service" means all online services provided by the Company.
- "User" means both members and non-members who receive the Service provided by the Company under these Terms.
- "Member" means a person who has provided personal information to the Company and registered as a member, and who continuously receives information and uses the Service.
- "Non-member" means a person who uses the Service provided by the Company without registering as a member.
- "ID" means a combination of letters and numbers selected by the member and approved by the Company for identification and use of the Service.
- "Password" means a combination of letters and numbers set by the member to verify identity and protect member rights.
- "Content" means information, posts, materials, data, etc. provided by the Company.
Article 3 (Publication and Amendment of Terms)
1. The Company shall post these Terms on the initial screen of the Service so that users can easily access them.
2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable laws.
3. When the Company amends the Terms, it shall announce the effective date and reasons for amendment at least 7 days before the effective date. However, if the amendment is unfavorable to users, a minimum grace period of 30 days shall be provided.
4. Members who do not agree with the amended Terms may request membership withdrawal. If a member continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, they are deemed to have consented to the changes.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
1. Provision of Services
The Company provides the following services:
- Online content delivery service
- Bulletin board and community service
- Any other services the Company develops additionally or provides to members through partnership agreements
2. Modification and Suspension of Services
The Company may modify all or part of the Service due to operational or technical needs, and shall give prior notice of such changes.
The Company may suspend the provision of Service in the following cases:
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters, wars, riots, fires, strikes, or government controls that the Company cannot reasonably control
- Maintenance, replacement, or failure of service equipment, or interruption of communications
- When heavy traffic causes disruption to Service use
- When the Company deems it inappropriate to continue providing the Service due to other significant reasons
Article 5 (Membership Registration)
1. A user applies for membership by filling in the registration form provided by the Company and indicating agreement to these Terms.
2. The Company shall register applicants as members unless any of the following apply:
- The applicant has previously lost membership under these Terms (except if 3 years have passed since the loss and the Company has approved re-registration)
- There are false, incomplete, or erroneous entries in the registration
- Registration would significantly impair the Company's technical operations
3. The membership agreement is established when the Company's acceptance reaches the member.
Article 6 (Changes to Member Information)
Members may view and modify their personal information at any time through the personal information management page. However, real name and ID required for service management cannot be modified.
Members shall notify the Company of any changes to the information provided at registration, either online or by email. The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantages arising from failure to provide such notification.
Article 7 (Privacy Protection)
The Company collects the minimum personal information necessary for providing the Service.
The Company does not collect information needed for purchase contracts in advance at the time of membership registration, except when identity verification is required by law before the purchase contract.
When collecting and using personal information, the Company shall notify the user of the purpose and obtain consent. For details on the personal information collected by the Company, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
Article 8 (Obligations Regarding Member ID and Password Management)
1. The member is responsible for managing their ID and password and shall not allow third parties to use them.
2. The Company may restrict the use of an ID if there is a risk of personal information leakage, if it is antisocial or contrary to public morals, or if it may be confused with the Company or its operators.
3. If a member becomes aware that their ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, they shall immediately notify the Company and follow its instructions.
Article 9 (Obligations of Users)
Users shall not engage in any of the following activities:
- Registering false information during application or modification
- Stealing another person's information
- Altering information posted by the Company
- Transmitting or posting information other than that authorized by the Company (including computer programs)
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
- Damaging the reputation of the Company or third parties or interfering with their business
- Publicly disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information contrary to public morals
- Using the Service for commercial purposes without the Company's consent
- Any other illegal or unjust activities
Article 10 (Obligations of the Company)
1. The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms or contrary to public morals, and shall make its best efforts to provide the Service continuously and reliably.
2. The Company shall establish security systems to protect personal information (including credit information) and publish and comply with its Privacy Policy.
3. The Company shall process legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users regarding the Service and communicate the processing and results through bulletin boards or email.
4. The Company shall make efforts to provide convenience to users in the procedures and content related to contracts, including the conclusion, modification, and termination of service agreements.
Article 11 (Copyright of Content)
1. Copyrights and other intellectual property rights to works created by the Company belong to the Company.
2. Users shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use for commercial purposes, or allow third parties to use, information to which the Company holds intellectual property rights without prior consent.
3. The Company shall notify the relevant user when using copyrighted works belonging to a user pursuant to an agreement.
Article 12 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Eligibility)
1. Membership Withdrawal
A member may request withdrawal at any time, and the Company shall process the withdrawal immediately. Member information after withdrawal shall be retained in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
2. Loss of Eligibility
The Company may restrict or suspend a member's eligibility if any of the following apply:
- Registering false information during the application process
- Interfering with another person's use of the Service or stealing their information, thereby threatening e-commerce order
- Using the Service to engage in activities prohibited by law or these Terms, or contrary to public morals
Article 13 (Damages)
1. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members in connection with free services, except where such damages result from the Company's gross negligence.
2. The Company shall not be liable for any loss of expected profits from use of the Service or for damages arising from materials obtained through the Service.
3. The Company shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, or content of information, materials, or facts posted by members on the Service.
Article 14 (Disclaimer)
1. The Company shall be exempt from liability for Service provision in cases of force majeure or equivalent unavoidable circumstances.
2. The Company shall not be liable for service disruptions caused by the member's own negligence.
3. The Company shall not be liable for any loss of expected profits from use of the Service or for damages arising from materials obtained through the Service.
Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)
1. The Company shall establish and operate a compensation processing body to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and compensate for damages.
2. Lawsuits regarding e-commerce disputes between the Company and users shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the user's address at the time of filing. If the user's address is unclear, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
3. Disputes between the Company and users may be resolved through mediation by the E-Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee pursuant to applicable law.
4. The court of jurisdiction for lawsuits regarding disputes between the Company and users shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
Article 16 (Miscellaneous)
1. Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws or commercial practices.
2. The Company may establish separate terms (hereinafter "Individual Terms") for specific services and announce them in advance when necessary.
