Installed Gases
Project Details
Hello from MG Korea. After a long break, we are sharing another installation case. This project delivered a FIX800 fixed multi-gas system together with an LED status board. First, inside the fire-extinguishing gas room (protected area), we installed the FIX800 as shown in the photos.

When monitoring oxygen alone, a large CO2 release is usually required before the oxygen reading drops meaningfully, which makes it difficult to catch a small leak of extinguishing gas. A CO2 channel, by contrast, can detect trace extinguishing-gas leakage more readily—though CO2 analyzers are typically more costly than oxygen-only instruments.

The photo shows a CO2 extinguisher storage room.

To help prevent CO2 discharge incidents, a FIX800 was installed in the extinguisher cabinet area. Conventional mounting height follows occupational safety rules measured from the floor, but site conditions may call for placement near the main CO2 valve or another definitive leak point.

Most gas-monitoring projects also include an LED display board for high visibility and real-time linkage.

Fire-extinguishing gas rooms and protected spaces are often unoccupied; an internal horn alone may not alert people outside, so an external LED board is commonly added. Supervisors can check gas status from outside, saving inspection time and walking routes.
The LED board updates about once per second with live readings from the interior detectors. LED modules are typically rated for roughly five years of life, so maintenance needs stay modest over the long term.
