Project Details

Hello from Starko Instrument. This note covers the GasTiger 2000 configured for high-range CO2 measurement (0–20% vol).

The instrument supports data logging and internal memory; connecting to a PC allows data backup. Typical uses include CO2 surveys in multi-use facilities and validation work around CO2 incubators.

Gas sensors have finite service life—often on the order of about two years depending on environment—and annual calibration is recommended. When a sensor reaches end of life or is damaged and can no longer track reliably, replacement is required.

If the unit still reads near the configured maximum even at idle in clean air, the sensor may have been exposed to concentrations beyond its range or may be damaged. CO2 sensors are also sensitive to moisture: condensation from rapid temperature changes or prolonged high humidity can impair performance.

The display lists sensor information, calibration date, and alarm ranges.

Stable readings return after replacement and calibration.

The Wandi GasTiger 2000 family remains attractive because many gas channels are selectable. Starko Instrument provides domestic service in Korea for faster turnaround. Frequently used sensors are kept in stock; less common types can often be supplied in about two weeks.
