This is FIX 800, an installation-type composite/single gas meter. This is a product that measures by attaching the desired sensor according to the user's choice. When the CO/H2S dual sensor is installed, it measures up to 5 gases simultaneously, allowing simultaneous measurement of the 5 gases required by law, O2 CO H2S EX CO2 gas, with one device. This is FIX-DS, a dedicated monitoring equipment for FIX800 equipped with a highly visible LED display. As the FIX-800 product itself is a product that is manufactured to order according to user requests, the corresponding status board can also be manufactured and customized in various ways according to the measuring device. With at least these two configurations, evacuation and action will be possible when there is a risk of suffocation in the environment before/during work in a confined space. Advance preparation
Start preparing for work. These are the measuring instrument and electronic display board that will be installed today, as well as the work materials: communication cable and power cable waterproof corrugated pipe. We have prepared a standing sign and exhaust fan for confined space work. The safety signboard contains safety training for workers in confined spaces, a workplace risk assessment, other documents such as on-site representative handover, and a work permit in the customer company form.
For confined space work, oxygen is supplied through a blower for 15 minutes before entering the site. Afterwards, go down to the site and measure the gas with the EDW 500, a portable pump-type complex gas meter, to see if the site is workable. There is no problem in working normally. Divided into two groups, installation of status boards and measuring instruments will be carried out simultaneously. The path to the status board and measuring instrument is mostly made up of cable trays. Still, the task is simplified by having a tray at eye level.
The concentration in the confined space is measured every hour. Because EDW500, an IOT complex gas meter equipped with USIM, is placed on site, real-time data can be checked from outside the workplace. The client also showed interest in checking the current gas concentration via mobile, so we sent a proposal after completing the work.
