FIX5000 Air Quality Monitor Installation — Pet Crematorium Exhaust Gas Measurement (Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do)

Hello, this is RS Korea's technical team. Today's product is the FIX5000 air quality monitor, which we have already covered in several previous posts. While it may seem like the same product each time, we believe each installation is worth documenting since the application environment is different every time. Given the nature of this site — a pet crematorium — we have kept the tone respectful throughout, and we extend our sincere condolences to the families who have said goodbye to a beloved pet.

We measured the chimney's location and height, along with the distance needed to install the detector and run the sampling line.

The exhaust outlet is located at the rear of the facility, but since a display board showing live readings needed to be installed at the front, we carefully checked the installation points and wiring routes — this was clearly not going to be a simple installation. The order was confirmed three months after the quotation was issued, and installation took place after the standard four-week lead time for this specialized product line. The photos below are shared in sequence. This installation measures a total of seven environmental parameters: three gas types (withheld here for confidentiality), temperature, humidity, PM2.5, and PM10.

We arrived on site with the FIX5000 air quality monitor unit, a self-supporting pole, the front-facing display board, and the sampling line (PU tubing). More on that display board — which looks a little different from our usual posts — toward the end of this article.

After climbing the ladder, we connected the sampling line to the exhaust outlet. However, we found a small surprise: at the initial site meeting there had been only one outlet, but by the time construction began, there were two. We used a T-type ball valve, which we had prepared in anticipation of exactly this kind of situation, to allow for both selective and simultaneous gas measurement across the two outlets.

We began measuring the side where cremation had just started, and the response time was fast. Facilities like this help ensure a dignified process for these animal companions.

This is the display board briefly mentioned earlier. Rather than the printed-sheet format used in our previous posts, this one uses full-color LEDs. Its slideshow format removes any restriction on the content shown, so a wide range of information can be displayed on a single board. It supports Korean, English, and special characters in multiple colors, can show additional information beyond just the measured values, and can be custom-sized to the customer's requirements.
