Project Details

hello! It's REX! We visited a hospital in Jeonju in response to an inquiry about gas meters in confined spaces. They contacted us after seeing the electronic display board first and said they wanted to install it so that when the entrance is opened before entering a confined space, the internal numbers can be seen immediately when opened.

We requested that the electronic signboard be installed so that the wastewater storage tank is stored so that it can be seen directly when the entrance cover is opened, and that a gas meter be installed as well. There was no light and it was so small that two people couldn't fit in, but I could still smell it.

It is a wastewater treatment plant. There is a separate wastewater treatment facility on the outskirts of the hospital, so we requested that a meter and electronic display be installed on the left wall so that the current readings can be seen when going down the stairs.  ■ Start installation

The space was too small to go in and take pictures, so I took pictures from above.

There is no place inside the tank room where power can be supplied, and the place where the tank room is located is a hallway where hospital employees pass by. Even if you had to climb through the wall and climb up, there was no place to use the power supply, so the wall of the tank room where the meter was installed was connected to the area shown on the right in the photo on the first basement floor, so the power supply line had to be taken out to the first basement floor and connected to an outlet on the first basement floor.

To supply power to the electronic display board, a multi-tube in the air conditioner had to be used, and the work was carried out by opening the ceiling tex to minimize exposure to the power supply line.

The connection was good, so the electronic signboard and installed gas meter were turned on, and the warning lights and alarms were working well, so the wastewater tank room was completed.

The electronic display board is usually installed with an installed gas meter inside and to preview the internal gas concentration from the outside, but since it is not located inside the hospital building and there is a wastewater treatment facility on the outskirts, a request was made to install it in front of the stairs on the left so that the electronic display board can be clearly seen.

When installing in a processing facility like this, there are things to check with the user. There is no problem if you install an additional earth leakage circuit breaker on the electrical distribution board and supply power to the electronic display board or use the multi-gut in the internal facility. However, when working with a direct connection from the outlet because the multi-gut you were planning to use is in use, the breaker must be turned off at the distribution board to which the multi-gut is connected for electrical work safety. When the breaker is turned off, the devices connected to the multi-gut stop working, so it is necessary to check whether the devices can be stopped while working.

After completing the installation, we tested the warning lights and alarms, provided users with a demonstration, product description, calibration cycle, etc., and completed the construction. As the display board uses LED modules, the numbers are clearly visible from a distance, so we finished the process happily. This concludes the Jeonju Hospital installation blog. thank you
