Installed Gases
Project Details
hello. This is REX~ Today, I visited an OO resource center in a septic tank room in response to a request to install a safety measuring instrument for confined spaces. Because it is a resource center, the interior is clean and there is a lot to see, so I wanted to post it, but it is unfortunate that there are no interior photos as photography is not allowed except for work-related purposes... ■ List of items to be installed

■ Introduction to the installed measuring device FIX800 This is the installed gas measuring device FIX800 from WANDI, a gas measuring instrument specialist brand.

Since the sensor is mounted at the bottom of the measuring instrument, the substrate is larger in the case of a complex type, so there is a difference in the size of the bottom substrate box.

■ Installation environment● Installation environment The purpose of the installation environment is an enclosed space inside a septic tank. Considering the safety of workers, we inquired about an installation type measuring device for convenience. ● Gas / concentration safety gas [oxygen. carbon monoxide. Hydrogen sulfide. Carbon dioxide]O2 (oxygen) 0-30%VolCO (carbon monoxide) 0-1,000ppmH2S (hydrogen sulfide) 0-100ppmCO2 (carbon dioxide) 0-5%Vol● Request: The entrance is narrow and you have to climb down a ladder, and because it is an enclosed space, you asked to take breaks while working. You spoke with our safety in mind.

Now, I've been to a lot of sites, climbed a lot of ladders, and stepped on places where I had to be careful to check the site, but I confidently said that the site in the photo above is something that the user really thought about and told me about, and that a space like this isn't that difficult, and I immediately stuck my head in the beans. I must try to be more careful and not be conceited. If you go down the very narrow entrance ladder,

There is a power supply panel inside the septic tank (there was no smell at all up to this point, so I thought it was a comfortable site from an olfactory standpoint).

If you enter the door inside, you can see the inside of the septic tank room. As I entered, the smells I often smelled greeted me. A frequently asked question when visiting the site is where should the measuring instrument be installed? no see. When determining the installation point of the measuring instrument, if there is no request from the user, we usually tell them that it will be installed near the gas generation location and at the height of the human respiratory system. If you tell us where the gas is generated, we will tell you what can be installed nearby, receive confirmation from the user, and begin installation.

The electronic display board is installed at the top of the entrance to the septic tank room.

The FIX800 installation type gas meter was installed next to the cesspit. Yes... there was definitely a strong smell from the cesspool, but seeing as the smell was stronger in the center than in other areas, it seemed like a good location for the measuring instrument. Even if it is a septic tank room or a site where workers occasionally come, it is RS Korea's principle to handle power supply and communication lines neatly.

We carried out waterproofing flexible line work along the installed pipes as much as possible. It's a snap, but if things are going well, you need to check again.

There is no problem connecting to the meter. However, communication is not working well. I thought things were going too well, but fortunately it was just one of those really minor issues. While driving, I decided that a terminal inside the electronic display panel was missing, so I quickly disassembled it and took it apart.

The work was completed. After reporting to the user that it was completed, we showed the measuring instrument alarm test and communication test at the site and finished the construction. We determine whether work is possible through on-site inspection, provide solutions to users' requests on site, and inform them of what is possible and why it is not possible. Inquiries about other gas and portable meters are always welcome. Although most of the blog postings are currently being taken over by new employee Merry, I will also work hard and steadily upload installation posts about more and more diverse sites. This concludes the post about the resource center FIX800 installation.
