We installed a gas meter inside an enclosed space, in preparation for gas leakage, before entering, during work, etc., and then installed a gas meter and an electronic display board so that the internal gas concentration could be checked from the outside. ■ Installation

To ensure the safety of workers working in the landfill gas transfer pipe condensate collection tank, a gas meter was installed inside and an electronic signboard was installed outside to check the gas concentration inside before entering.

The electronic signboard was installed by specifying a location where it can be seen when viewed from underneath the work space and when entering the site from outside. I asked about waterproofing because the electronic display board is outside. I was told that electronic display boards are always made for outdoor use and that it would be better to see it in person since the site where it was installed last year also had an electronic display board on the outside. Then, I went to the site where it was installed last year.

I showed them the electronic display board that was installed last year and informed them that I have never received a call about a problem with the electronic display board until now. In the sump, methane gas and moisture are separated from the landfill gas, and the moisture is stored separately in the sump, and the methane gas moves to the flare stack. In preparation for methane gas leakage in facilities where the flare stack system operates, a combustible gas measuring device was installed in the system room.

After completing the installation in the flare stack system operating facility space, we showed the alarm test and gas responsiveness to the person in charge and completed the construction.
