Hello. This article compares portable spot checks with continuous incubator/cultivator CO2 monitoring.
Portable meter: for quick, real-time CO2 checks and simple data review.
24-hour monitoring meter: for real-time CO2 plus long-term trend review — needed for round-the-clock monitoring.
▶ 24-hour monitoring meter: FIX800

The mobile FIX800 package couples a fixed CO2 detector, an R9600 data logger, and a power supply, and can be custom-built to the size the customer needs. An internal pump continuously draws sample gas for real-time measurement, the R9600 logger connected to FIX800 records data and enables real-time monitoring, and the power supply keeps both units running.

Because each unit is custom-built, production takes about three weeks — but every unit is tailored to the site, so customer satisfaction is high.

The mobile unit still displays live CO2, and temperature, humidity, or other channels can be added.
▶ Size

Think of the mobile unit as a hybrid between a handheld and a permanent installation: because it includes a genuine fixed detector, data logger, and power supply, it can't be as compact as a handheld unit. Please match the hardware to the duty cycle you actually need.
The mobile unit is a good fit when: 24-hour monitoring is needed but a permanent installation is impractical; long-term analysis is needed while moving between several locations; simple data management is required; or remote smartphone monitoring via a cloud service is needed (we recommend a consultation first).

Thank you.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. What is the difference between the portable and 24-hour monitoring units?
The portable unit is for quick, real-time CO2 checks and simple data review, while the 24-hour monitoring unit (FIX800) is for continuous real-time CO2 tracking, long-term trend review, and round-the-clock monitoring.
Q2. What does the mobile FIX800 package include?
A fixed FIX800 detector, an R9600 data logger, and a power supply, with an internal pump continuously drawing sample gas for real-time measurement.
Q3. How long does production take?
Because each unit is custom-built, production takes about three weeks; customers report high satisfaction since every unit is tailored to their site.
Q4. Can it measure more than CO2?
Yes, temperature, humidity, and other parameters can be added.
Q5. When is the mobile unit the right choice?
It suits situations where 24-hour monitoring is needed but permanent installation is impractical, where long-term analysis is needed across multiple locations, where easier data management is required, or where remote smartphone monitoring via a cloud service is needed (a consultation is recommended first).
