Project Details

LEL (%) expresses the fraction of the lower explosive limit for flammable gas in air. Korean industrial hygiene rules often require five-gas portables for confined-space work; EDW500 meets that pattern with LTE cloud backup.

POSCO’s team wanted an IoT-ready detector with smartphone/PC live view plus data retention—EDW500 matched the connected workflow they envisioned.

Kit checklist: EDW500 with LEL, manual pump bracket, USB cable, charger, factory test report, carrying case, optional Bluetooth auto pump, and embedded IoT SIM.

We challenged the LEL channel with a lighter source to confirm A1/A2 alarm staging (video clip captured A1 only).

Rear alligator clip keeps the chassis compact while supporting live logging and GPS.

The bundled IoT module pushes readings to phones, tablets, or PCs simultaneously, raises popup alarms, and streams GPS tracks—this is the connected EDW500 value proposition.
