Trace Oxygen Measurement Portable Gas Analyzer GasTiger 2000

For this user delivery case, the customer selected the GasTiger 2000 to measure oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Because the process environment is purged entirely with nitrogen, oxygen must never appear at all. The customer requested measurement ranges of O₂: 5% and CO₂: 5000 ppm.

Our initial concern was that since ambient air already contains 21% oxygen, setting the measurement range to 5% would cause continuous alarms in open air and put excessive strain on the sensor.

However, the customer was well aware of this issue, and since the actual measuring environment contains almost no oxygen, we proceeded with the setup as requested.

When the GasTiger 2000 unit is powered on in ambient air, it displays 5% MAX as expected and the alarm sounds, confirming that the low-range oxygen channel is working correctly.

Any gas component can be analyzed, and the configuration can be customized to suit the site conditions.
