Underground Research Tunnel O₂ & RH Display

This is the installation site for oxygen concentration and temperature/humidity monitoring inside an underground research facility. The distance from the entrance, where the status board will be installed, to the detector is within about 50 m, and the site is already fully wired with electrical facilities.

This is the site floor plan we received. We roughly confirmed the status board location and the detector location, and because the electrical facilities are already in place, the work can proceed smoothly.

☞ Entrance (status board installation location)

This is the tunnel entrance, the location where the monitoring status board will be installed.

☞ Detector location inside the tunnel

This is the detector location inside the tunnel, within about 50 m of the status board. The electrical facilities are already in place, so there is no issue with power supply.

☞ Installation in progress

Once the detector location is finalized, installation proceeds.

Equipment used:
FIX800 (oxygen concentration alarm)
DST1000 (temperature/humidity transmitter)

Wiring work and installation of the entrance-side status board proceed.

Status board — 3-channel display: oxygen / temperature / humidity

Installation of the entrance-side monitoring status board is complete, and with power supplied, measurement values can be checked in real time. Tunnel interior conditions can be safely checked from the entrance.

<Information needed when installing a gas detector:>
1. Measurement parameters (e.g. O₂, CO, H₂S, LEL, etc.)
2. Distance between the detector and the status board (e.g. within about 30 m)
3. Whether electrical facilities are already in place
4. Indoor or outdoor installation preference (e.g. status board indoors or outdoors)
