A laboratory that uses helium & nitrogen.
The installation was carried out to measure oxygen concentration inside the laboratory in real time and to monitor it in real time via a display board as well.
Nitrogen (N₂) and helium (He) are colorless and odorless, so a leak is difficult to notice by human senses, and when either gas leaks it displaces indoor oxygen, creating a risk of oxygen deficiency (reduced O₂).
For this reason, rather than "occasionally measuring with a single handheld meter," continuous (24-hour) monitoring plus immediate alarming is the core of proper safety management.
The combination suited to this purpose is FIX800 + FIX-DS.
