Installed Gases
Project Details
Hello from Tamtec CNS. We headed to a steel plant in Daegu with a Gastiger 2000 carrying O2, CO, CO2, and H2S (four-gas safety set—legacy labels may read “H25”) plus a Gastiger 3000 hydrogen chloride (HCl) analyzer.

Before delivery we inspected both units and prepared a short product overview.

Gastiger 2000 is a multi-gas portable supporting many sensor options, five channels on one display, loud alarms, and USB logging to Excel-friendly formats for safety walk-downs.

Gastiger 3000 targets adsorptive, corrosive, and acidic specialty gases—two smart sensor slots, optimized for challenging toxics.

The 2000 supports daily steelmaking safety checks; the 3000 with HCl is destined for laboratory experiments. We delivered the two instruments to different departments within the same company.

Nearby we saw rebar stock for construction—typical steelyard logistics.

We first handed the Gastiger 3000 to the research team and explained operation in detail—its specialty-focused UI can feel more involved than the 2000 series.

We then moved to the production floor. For security reasons we could not photograph operators using the detectors on the line, but we trained workers on the Gastiger 2000 routines and closed the visit.
