Installed Gases
Project Details
Hello from Tamtec CNS. We delivered a configurable GasTiger 2000 multi-gas portable to a semiconductor manufacturer in Pyeongtaek. The customer needed economical sensor customization plus on-site training.
They specifically monitor arsine (AsH3) released while disassembling parts. Arsenic compounds are classified as highly toxic carcinogens; semiconductor workers can be exposed directly or indirectly, so reliable detectors and training are critical.
The safest prevention strategy is disciplined monitoring—GasTiger 2000 can host multiple specialty sensors (including arsine-class channels) with intuitive color icons for field crews.

Beyond arsine service, GasTiger 2000 supports many other toxics and nuisance gases (including NH3 and various oxides) across 30+ catalog sensor types—up to five active channels.

The graphical UI helps first-time users operate confidently in the plant.

We bench-check every complex portable before shipment so latent faults do not reach the field.

Allow about one minute of warm-up after power-on before trusting readings in critical tasks.

In our office (no arsine present) the configured channel read a stable 0 ppm as expected.

At the fab we provided complimentary hands-on training so operators understood alarm behavior and sampling tips—essential when arsenic exposure is possible.

We demonstrated man-down / shock alarms: if a user collapses with the instrument, loud alarms alert nearby workers. We closed with Q&A and thanked the team.

Thank you for trusting Tamtec CNS with specialty gas safety.
