Project Details
Hello from VPE Korea. Case study: FIX800 five-gas plus LED annunciator at a wastewater plant.
Location: confined area inside WWTP.
Instrument: FIX800 multi-gas.
Channels: O2, CO, H2S, combustibles, CO2.
Annunciation: LED status board.
Power wiring was dressed in rigid steel conduit (flexible metallic conduit is used on other sites per spec).
The detector protecting workers sits deep in the structure. Per industrial safety law it tracks all five gases and drives audible/visual alarms when oxygen drops or toxics rise.
The LED board is placed for maximum visibility; it repeats alarms from the transmitter.
Always assess internal atmosphere before entry—unpredictable events still happen.
From the MCC to the control box we ran sealed conduit and completed pre-energization checks.
After a one-minute warm-up the system went live. The outdoor-rated LED survived recent heavy rains without fault. VPE Korea delivers detectors plus monitoring layers tailored to each customer—call anytime.
