Project Details

Hello from Raymond Korea. If you wonder why gas detectors matter, start with the definition of a confined space—see the reference photos.

A room with windows can still be confined if the window stays shut and ventilation is ineffective—anywhere gases can accumulate or oxygen can fall becomes a life-safety issue.

Ambient oxygen is about 20.9%. Below ~18% workers feel dizzy; lower values become immediately life-threatening.

This week we covered an electrical room, boiler room, and water-treatment vault. After survey we sized sensors and cable runs to balance cost and coverage.

As shown, we can pair interior transmitters with LED boards at entrances for pre-entry checks.

Most installs use FIX800—up to four gases per chassis, economical versus four separate heads, and simpler maintenance. That concludes today’s overview.
