GasTiger 2000 CO2 Detector — Incubator CO2 Monitoring with Moisture Pre-Treatment Unit (Seoul)

Today we would like to introduce our GasTiger 2000 gas detector's application for measuring CO2 (carbon dioxide).

This is a case in which the detector was delivered for measuring CO2 (carbon dioxide) levels inside an incubator.

Because this measurement involved a moisture variable, rather than drawing the gas in directly, we connected a moisture pre-treatment unit in the line so that moisture would not affect the reading or the equipment.

This is one of the accessories supplied by TESTO. It is typically used as an in-line pre-treatment device for combustion gas measurement in humid environments, but because of its excellent moisture-filtering performance, it is also well suited for non-combustion measurement applications.

Although the moisture involved was minute and not visible to the eye, after about 5 minutes of measurement, condensation appeared in the hose. Since CO2 levels inside the incubator could rise by around 5%, we supplied a model capable of measuring up to 20% to accommodate this.

Result: the readings could also be analyzed via software, but since the site required tamper-proof printed data, we supplied a wireless Bluetooth (BT) printer to print the readings on the spot. We confirmed a very satisfying response speed and measurement accuracy.

The readings matched the CO2 reference values with 99.9% accuracy, confirming measurement reliability.

As shown above, measurement can be done with a portable multi-gas detector, but there is also the option of installing a fixed FIX800 model to monitor data in real time.
