Project Details
Hello from VPE Korea. This installation protects workers from CO2 flooding events in clean-agent and high-pressure CO2 extinguishing rooms.

When CO2 reaches ~30% vol, oxygen falls below ~15% vol, stopping combustion but creating immediate asphyxiation risk.

Even general buildings can exceed ~2000 ppm (0.2% vol) indoors when ventilation fails—CO2 is heavier than air (specific gravity ≈1.53), so detectors belong low in the protected volume.

CO2 is heavier than air (specific gravity ≈1.53), so we mounted transmitters as low as practical inside the protected volume.

We ran rigid conduit and installed seven vulnerable points with paired CO2/oxygen monitoring as required by the hazard review.

Two LED boards summarize room status for responders outside the hazard zone.

That concludes the CO2 suppression-room installation. VPE Korea supplies specialized measurement packages for industrial confined spaces, BEMS metering, and laboratory integration—contact us with your compliance targets.
