Hello, this is RS Korea.
When managing oxygen levels in confined spaces such as wastewater treatment plants and septic tanks, installation cost and wiring work are often a concern alongside equipment selection.
For this project, the customer requested a fixed oxygen detector and an oxygen concentration display board, and asked for a package they could install on site themselves.
We configured an FIX800 oxygen detector with an outdoor, waterproof FIX-DS display board, and shipped the detector with a 10 m communication cable already connected.
Easy Installation Preparation
The FIX800 oxygen detector was shipped with a 10 m AWG24 4C cable pre-connected, reducing on-site wiring work.
Reducing Installation Cost
The detector and display board are fixed to the wall, wiring and power are connected following the provided instructions, and operation is then verified.
The indoor oxygen display board is 60 mm wide, while the fully waterproof outdoor version is manufactured at 120 mm wide.
Waterproof Outdoor Display Board
The FIX-DS was built as a waterproof model for outdoor installation environments.
Sound and Light Alarms
When the oxygen concentration falls below the configured low alarm value, the beacons and audible alarms on both devices warn of the hazard.
A Delivery Prepared for Easy On-Site Connection
The key point of this delivery was to consider the customer's installation cost by configuring the FIX800 and FIX-DS together and pre-connecting a 10 m AWG24 4C cable to the detector.
We review the installation location, the distance between the detector and the display board, whether the equipment is exposed outdoors, and the gases to be measured, and recommend a configuration that suits the site.
